Yes, we have a designated parking space on site. Instructions are available in our first pinned post on Instagram. When you pull into the driveway, give us a call and we’ll let you in and direct you where to park. There’s also one- and two-hour street parking available nearby.

Yes! If you’d like to experiment with dreadlocks without a long-term commitment, we offer handcrafted and custom made braid-in dreadlocks. These can be worn for 6-12 weeks and reused for future installs. Book a consultation to explore this option further.
-
Our dreadlock extensions are human hair extensions that are crocheted into your natural hair or dreadlocks to add length.
-
Before booking a new dreadlock or extension installation, we require an in-person consultation to ensure the best results tailored to your hair and vision. Every head of hair is unique, and this step allows us to customise the service specifically for you.
During your consultation, we will:
Discuss your desired look and review any inspiration photos
Assess your hair’s length, texture, thickness, and density
Take measurements and do a colour match if you’re considering extensions
Explain our natural crochet technique and the full installation process
Talk you through what to expect as your dreadlocks mature over the first 12 months
Outline a maintenance schedule and at-home care routine
Recommend trusted products for healthy, long-lasting dreadlocks
Share our dread prep instructions to help you prepare for your appointment
Answer all your questions and provide a personalised quote
We generally recommend a minimum hair length of 10cm for dreadlock installation. If you’re adding extensions, slightly shorter hair may still be workable. We’ll assess this during your consultation.
Once we’ve created a clear plan together, we’ll schedule your dreadlock creation appointment. This process ensures your journey starts with clarity, confidence, and the right foundation for long-lasting, healthy dreadlocks.
Booking & Deposit Policies
-
If you need to change your appointment, please contact us at least 48 hours in advance. If your appointment was made via our online booking system, you can modify it yourself unless it’s within 48 hours of the scheduled time. Appointments changed with less than 48 hours notice may result in the deposit being retained.
-
We book appointments based on the time needed for your specific service. Arriving late may affect how much we can get done and can delay the rest of our day, impacting other clients. Please arrive on time to help everything run smoothly. We recommend allowing extra time for travel or parking so you can relax and get the most out of your appointment. If you are more than 20 minutes late, a late fee will be applied.
-
A deposit is required for all appointments.
New Dreadlock Creations: $200 (non-refundable)
Dreadlock Maintenance: $100 (non refundable)
New Dreadlocks with Human Hair Extensions and Braid-in Installs: $500 (non refundable)
Deposits are deducted from your total cost. If cancelled within 48 hours, your deposit will not be refunded. You’re welcome to rebook, but a new deposit will be required.
-
Your deposit lovingly holds your appointment and supports the care we bring to each client. Late changes and no-shows can be difficult to accommodate and impact the flow of our day. To support a calm and respectful schedule, we kindly ask for 48 hours’ notice for any changes. Thank you for respecting our time, energy, and process.
Dreadlock Care & Services
-
Please wash your hair two days before your appointment and arrive with your dreadlocks completely dry. Wet dreadlocks can reduce effectiveness, cause breakage, and extend appointment time.
We also recommend a bicarb deep cleanse every six months to remove buildup and debris.
This can be done:
During your maintenance appointment (add-on service), or
One week before your appointment for a deep refresh
Proper preparation ensures healthier dreadlocks and a more efficient session.
-
Maintenance time varies. We’ll ask:
How many dreadlocks you have
How long since your last maintenance
How old your dreadlocks are
Whether you want full root-to-tip or regrowth-only maintenance
We also encourage you to send us photos or videos of your current locks. Once we have this info, we can give you a time estimate and you can book accordingly.
-
We use an all-natural crochet method—wax-free, chemical-free, and without interlocking or twist-and-rip. This method is highly regarded in the dreadlock community for long-lasting, natural-looking results.
